If you are new to the church family, please take a copy of our booklet, ‘What the bible really teaches about giving’ from the display stand at the back of church or download here.

Some practical points:

We have to pay for everything the Lord calls us to do

Ministry & Mission cost money. Every aspect of htcd’s mission and ministry (apart from the cost of our clergy) is dependent for funding on our own giving. Our income has to support all the ministry of this church family (children’s group materials, staff costs, buildings, Foxhill Focus).

We are not all the same

We recognise that different members face different circumstances. The Bible teaches us to give ‘in keeping with your income’ – we want to be sensitive to individual situations, and informal advice can be given if requested. Please do ask.

So, what do I / we do now?

first, reflect on the teaching given in the booklet, ‘What the Bible really teaches about giving’
then, pray – remember, no one can tell you how much to give; giving is our response to the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
please prayerfully consider joining our regular giving scheme. The ideal for us is for you to set up a standing order.
If you pay tax, a Gift Aid declaration adds 28p to each £1 given
